A day to honor our historical heroes like Al Capone and the Carlino Brothers who kept the party alive and wouldn't let a little something like Prohibition stop them from having a fun time!
The Carlino Brothers, Sam & Pete, were prominent mob figures & bootleggers who built an unstoppable empire in Southern Colorado from 1922-1931. They brewed their own Moonshine a.k.a Sugar Moon on a family beet farm and gained such a reputation that they expanded into Denver before they were both assassinated.
